Smell the time!!
You may have been expecting a recipe with a minor typo, but no it's not thyme, it's time!! The last unit of our STEAM course Light Sound And Time was filled with interesting theories and concepts. This unit, time, was all about time and we explored different time telling methods, time travel, as well as how time works. It was filled to the brim with exciting materials and we were finally able to pour it all into this last action project. As I mentioned before, we took a look at some time-telling devices like grandfather clocks, pendulums, sundials, and more. This project was all about our own ideas, so we were instructed to come up with an original design for a time-telling device or make an original tweak to an already existing one. You'll find all of the information regarding mine, below.
After finishing this project I can safely say that time is definitely a complicated topic. From finding ways to tell time, to creating a device to do it consistently, time is such a wide spectrum of thought that I'm not even sure human beings have been able to fully grasp. I really enjoyed this because it allowed me to be creative in a scientific way. I recommend everyone that sees this, to start thinking about life, and all its rules and laws, in a way that doesn't confine you to ideas that already exist.
